COMPANY PROFILE | THE HISTORY | COMPANY ASSETS
For over 50 years Policrom Screens has been leveraging its deep knowledge of the graphic industry and its long standing habit of high quality and product excellence to develop and market consumable products, initially for prepress (montage foils, laser film) and subsequently for the printing house (ink–duct foils, underpacking polyesters).

Since 2002 we have been marketing a new range of nonwovens for the automatic and manual cleaning of the printing press, that has been developed for the specific needs of the graphic industry; we have filed unique patents for an innovative self–impregnating roll (for use in automatic cleaning systems that require the use of ready–moistened cloth); and the projects for further development in the area of cleaning include high–performance nonwovens and low environmental impact chemicals.

In 2004 we have further invested in the development of polyester and polymer–based products through a capital investment in Normandy Coating, a facility recently established in northern France and specialized in the surface treatment of plastic films.

The range of products has been developed to include a full assortment of versatile, high performance plates for spot varnishing, as well as calibrated underpacking polyester, manufactured even in very large formats (1,65 mt); and unique printable media for both offset and digital presses, developed through strategic alliances with International Companies specifically focussed on research on plastic film applications.
